Last year I purchased a Tado Wireless Smart Thermostat Starter Kit V3+.
I paid £99 from Screwfix. I registered the product and set up their App to control the heating and hot water from my phone hence they have one of my email addresses.
Recently every couple of days I get an email from Tado offering 10 to
40% discount (depending on total spend) and a link to their on-line shop. Out of curiosity I went to their on-line shop and found that the system I purchased was now £180 (incl 10% discount)
