Tiling

Hi folks. We are in the process of preparing the bathroom for tiling. We have found 2 kinds of tiles we like that would be separated by a border. However the bottom tiles would be flat and the top would be wavey / bumpy. I know it is purely a personal choice but would this look silly?

although the white tiles would be wavey / bumpy.

Thanx Topper.

Reminds me of "Harry Ramsdens", does them pics. ;-)

You think I should have put in a deep fat frier instead of a shower then? ;-)

I guess that only you can decide for sure. I would have thought that if you choose a suitable boarder (aka listello) tile then it ought to allow the transition from one to the other without looking odd.

Is this thread now moving along the lines of the "electrocution in bath" one ?

Frying tonight.

Don't stay too long..you might get battered.

Oh Cod, not another roe of fishy puns to skate through....

Sings:

Whale kipper whelkome in the eelside...... etc.

Sorry, that was shellfish. I should be put in my plaice

What a load of carp. reminds me of the fish at the bottom of the sea terrorising other fish... apparently it was jack the kipper. :-)

What do you call a bus load of politicians at the bottom of the sea?

A good start....
