I've just replaced the macerator in my bathroom, and the shower trap has started to leak at one of the joints between the trap and the waste pipe. I guess I disturbed the joints during the replacement. Here's a pic of the trap and waste pipe under the shower:

My problem is that the space is very tight: I can only just about get my hand to the waste pipe connectors, and it's difficult to apply any force to tighten or undo them.Are there any tips on screwing / unscrewing pipe joints in confined spaces? Maybe some sort of special tool?
