They came and removed the offending brace (the one against the window). But, they didn't replace it. Fingers crossed that it wasn't needed and the scaffolding doesn't fall down.

But is forecast to be quite windy in the next few days. If this were a Monty Python cartoon the scaffolding would blow down and the house would go witth it. Brian
