T-Bar Philips No's 2,3 from where please?

Hi All,

I'm trying to give a mate a 'thanks' and find him a couple of those T Bar type screwdrivers that motorbike mechanics typically use. They need to be Philips head and No 2 and 3 in size.

I don't want SnapOn spec or prices but something decent and hard wearing would be preferred over chromed chocolate. ;-)

I'd prefer to be able to get them from a real (national) shop rather than the net.

All the best ..

Hey, we all have our good and bad days, oh and I already have hex drivers thanks! ;-)

Thanks and you know these to be good quality?

I know there is no reason why a £3.50 screwdriver would be any worse than the £10 versions I'd already found but that's why I put the 'decent and hard wearing' bit in my request (in the hope that someone may have actual experience of something or the brand was generally reputable).

I'm a bit cautious of giving something as a present that then either screws up the head of a fastener or snaps off into my mates hand. :-(

All the best ..

Yeahbut, I have used them since they were Columbus Geoff, but that link looks like Hex not Philips headed T bars?

I even asked my other mate if Snap On did them (for a laugh) but it seems they don't. Their solution is a ratchet handle and different bits.

I found these the other day:

at a tenner are only 'worth it' if they are good. Also some I have seen have moulded handles and look a bit more comfortable? My mate the bike mechanic uses some but can't get them again (Co gone).

His look more like these that WD mentioned earlier (Red handles):
