sticking the white disc on top of my Bristan tap back on

Mar 12, 2008 2 Replies

The plastic bit which has 'Hot'/'Cold' on it came off (and got lost but now have a replacement) It was originally held on by some soft jelly like washer which got damaged.

I'm now planning to stick on with some sort of glue but not sure what. I've got silicone sealant but not sure what the adhesive powers of that will be? I've also got some bathroom mirror adhesive and some epoxy adhesive. Or is there something else I should purchase?

Not sure what you need but I would contact Bristan's outstanding customer service department. Got a whole plug, chain, thing-that-goes-on-the-overflow when I asked for an O-ring for my bath plug. Excessive but helpful.

I did contact Bristan when I had lost the disc and they sent me some new discs very promptly. Unfortunately they were the wrong size. I then went to the plumbing shop where we bought the taps and they got ordered them from Bristan (free). However they came glued to a metal bit which I have removed but now need to attach the disc to the tap.
