I got the usual automated email confirming the order - and to be fair it does say:-
'We would normally expect you to receive your order within 4 to 5 working days. However, delivery times may vary and if an accurate delivery date is required then please telephone 08709-907038 to check.'
Of course it will depend on who you order from but my personal experience says most are very much quicker than that.
I just love internet shopping sites that say you have to phone...
My experience too. The other day I sent a spectacle frame to be reglazed. Posted by me on Friday, arrived in the Saturday morning post at the company, a question from supplier asked (and replied to) by email, sent out by them before lunchtime and arrived here on Monday. And that was were they had to do some work - not just pick off a shelf.
Well - I held out against buying it. I really did. But circumstances conspired - I needed petrol, found three petrol stations on the trot without any unleaded/closed for delivery and somehow ended up right outside Lidl just before opening time! Expecting them to have sold out, I had a quick look and they still had lots. So I bought one.
Will be trying it out this weekend.

I also happened to be passing there yesterday. I had a look at the hose clips and sds drill bits. Wasn't that impressed tbh and I think Toolstation do a better price on branded sds bits.

I already have sufficient SDS bits for now. And I rarely need Jubilee clips (often a cable tie works just fine for my needs in that direction). But they didn't look fantastic - nor fantastically cheap.
I use quite a few and they are as good as any, & Ireckon they are prety good value.
Have you tried it yet?
They certainly are if you compare them to Halford's prices.
Last one I used had been in shed for 15 years! Maybe my idea of inexpensive is well and truly out of date?
