They'll piss it up the wall quick enough then go bust like the others.

Its always sad to hear scientists lying through their back teeth to get a grant
'Professor Kwang-Leong Choy, who is leading Nottingham University?s research group, explained why she has become involved in the project: ?As the global supply of fossil fuels declines, the ability to generate sustainable energy will become absolutely vital. Generating electricity by converting solar radiation into electricity potentially provides us with an unlimited source of energy.?'
renewable energy is not unlimited, its is strictly limited by the sunlight falling ion the earth, and the more of that you steal to put in batteries the less there is to run the planets eco system.
someone somewhere calculated that a steady growth of IIRC 3% would result in the earth's population's energy demand exceeding the planets entire sunlight input in about 150 years, IIRC.
