Are these suitable for laying on top of a chipboard floor?

Only the type that you don't mix with water. Or on suspended wooden floors. Or where the chipboard is already level. :-))
Have you got any pointers to non-water compounds? My ignorance, what is a suspended woden floor?
Wooden joists and floorboards.
Christian.
Yes. PVA seal it first tho. Beware of any movement that may crack it too.
One you mustn't use a Fenrir containing self-leveling compound on, otherwise really, really bad things happen.
That sounds interesting ;-) Is Fenrir a type of compound? I always thought it was a wolf-monster (or maybe that's what you mean).
Sorry, bad puns based on norse mythology. Woden (aka Odin) being killed by the wolf Fenrir is one of the portends that takes place before ragnarok, before the final battle where all the slain heros fight futilely alongside the gods to stop the end of the world.
