Sealing a patio

Hi all,

I've had a leaky gutter above my front door which I have finally got around to fixing. However it has been leaking onto the crazy paving outside the front to my house for sometime now and I'm worried that water has been going down between the crazy paving and the front wall of the house.

I did actually find water under the laminate flooring in the front room one day (its a concrete floor).

Should I seal the gap between paving and house with something - maybe concrete or something just to stop water getting down there?

Any help would be much apreciated.

Chris

It doesn't matter how much water goes down the gap, it shouldn't come up inside the living room. Many people have just a small path outside their houses with the rest of it soil or lawn and this is perfectly fine, the patio isn't there to keep water off the ground underneath, you'll need to find the source of the water in your living room, this isn't it.
