An advert for Scalewatcher arrived at our house this week so I thought I would search uk.diy for any information about it. There was a very interesting thread on the subject in 2001 and I suggest anyone else who has received a similar leaflet read this thread before proceeding. Scalewatcher is an electronic system that claims to soften water electronically using an attachment connected to the rising main pipe of a house.
