Anyone got a source of reasonably priced rubbish sacks? Tried B&Q and Wickes 'Heavy Duty Rubble Sacks' - rubbish!
Tear at the first opportunity.
I bought some really good 'woven' ones at Makro, but I don't get there very often.
Any online suppliers?

They have a wide range of different rubbish bags, but you need an account.
Try coal bags with double bottoms and handles . I buy 100 at a time and split them with other roofing contractors. works out at £3 a bag. If you don't drop them when full they last at least a year each. Ideal for slate, tile, bricks, scaffold fitting and general rubbish. available from Whaley's of Bradford
Sorry, should have made my post clearer. I'm after a disposbale bag that will take the rubish from Mrs Bloggs job & last until I carry to the front door.
I have used the thick, free ones provided by the council for recycling! Can always get more, free, too!

You can get different size coal bags. The one we use are about 30" x 30" or
2'6" x 2'6" You can fill them half full so one person can lift or fill them till it takes two persons to lift. They are reuseable, have side handles and they dont rip
Not ripping is the main thing. 20 pence rubble bags are plenty strong enough to hold anything you can actually carry, but are no good for things like slates and tiles
