Are all manufacturers 2 port zones valves directly interchangeable ?.
i.e., can I replace a Honeywell V4043 with a Drayton model ?.

A new Trabant works - a f****d Rolls Royce doesn't :-(

What's wrong with the Honeywell? Replace the motor, or if needed, Replace the head, of if needed, Replace the valve with another Honeywell or Horstmann.
