I have just had the lounge replastered and and a very good job the plasterer did too. However, inevitably there are a few places where there is now dried plaster on the uPVC windows. What is the best way to remove this?

Green type scouring pad and water. If the dried plaster merges into real plastered wall, use a Stanley knife to break the join, so you don't take huge lumps of skimming with it.

Just did this job myself actually, using a cloth and hot bucket of Flash solution, no probs.

Bad idea to use a rough scouring pad on upvc, it *may* mark/scratch it.
is it thick? I had some bits of dry one-coat plaster stuck on some upvc and just rubbed it off with my hand then wiped it down (it didnt seem to stick to upvc very strongly).
IMO, that gives you a good reason to scrap it, though, which is another advantage of the method.
