Tomorrow's bit of DIY at our church involves removing a couple of doors which pivot on floor springs and have probably been there since 1867. How are these fitted/removed? I presume that you have to unscrew the lower shoe from the door, pull it out of the shoe and you can then remove the door from the upper pivot. Is this the method?
