Just as the UK leaving the EU has been an improvement?

We didn't *really* leave though, did we?

The politicians prevented that.

But the little we have managed to do has been extremely beneficial

Better and cheaper food from Africa and south America instead of Spain and Italy

Ability to support Ukraine without EU prevarication.

We know that Labour Liberal and Tory politicians have been told to destroy the country to force it back into submission to the EU, but Reform will actually reverse that.

The first thing that needs to go is the slavish adherence to EU energy and climate rules, which no one in the EU keeps to. But we do.

I've no idea whether or not in the financial, energy, foreign policy, etc areas it's been successful or not. Where it has been successful is to remove a layer of politicians. Any removal of a layer of politicians should be looked on with satisfaction. I recommend the poem "Siphonaptera" to you.

Don’t worry…more than 18 months into the new Labour pro-growth government complete with a Cabinet comprised solely of state-school-educated people, growth is now zero, perhaps in part due to record numbers of NEETs, sick notes, the increases in Living Wage and National Insurance…and more U-turns by the incompetent Prime Minister than can easily be recalled, as his back-benchers have their way. Where would the EU have saved us from this farce?

Well that is what Starmer May and Sunak have allowed. Via the ECHR, and the various 'deals with the EU' which are designed to ensure we cannot out compete them by e.g. having a sane energy policy, or a better immigration policy, or indeed cheaper labour rates.

That legislation was little to do with the quality of the food it imports. It was more about excluding products from certain former British colonies tat could only grow smaller bananas.

Much like the classification of other fruit and vegetables that required perfect shape and colour but didn't consider as a result all taste had been engineered out of the product.

BTW, big red juicy early Spanish strawberries are in the supermarkets. They taste the same as bottled water!
