Reasonably-priced shower rails?

I've got quite a posh brass Victorian-style shower fitting and matching bath taps, but no shower rail. I'd like a nice hoop to hang from the ceiling to complete the set, but they are insanely expensive. The ones I've seen are at least 400 quid including the fittings.

Does anyone know a good place I might be able to find something cheaper? Second-hand would be nice for instance, or reconditioned. It's just a brass hoop - why so much wonga?

=============== Make your own from 22mm (possibly 28mm) copper tube and standard end-feed fittings. You can make it any size / shape to suit your needs. Cost - cheap as chips and it will polish up well.

Good to see hard-core DIY attitude is still alive, but I'm not sure my metalworking skills would be up to it. Not having a workshop or any proper tools doesn't help either.

Meanwhile, I've just grabbed one off eBay for just over a ton including postage. Bloody expensive, but still way less than all the new ones I've seen. It doesn't look bent in the photograph, so with a bit of luck I might have got some kind of bargain.
