there's only one narrative being played out isn't there? Why?

Last year no vaccines, country locked down, covid managed to kill lots of people.

This year vaccines available, covid not gone away but not killing anywhere near as many people, most people able to get on with life with minimal restrictions, economy not ramming itself into the f****ng ground.

Therefore everyone who can have it, should have it, whether they think they need it or not, for the sake of the country as a whole, it really isn't rocket science.

Trouble with that line is that while ever the vast bulk of people do get vaccinated, it really doesn’t matter much if the remaining say 10% don’t want to get vaccinated, even if that isnt very logical.

Mate of mine refuses to get vaccinated, because of the known side effects of vaccination. Yes that makes no sense logically given that the effects of getting infected are far worse than with vaccination but given that he and his wife are 40, it really doesn’t matter much if they choose to not get vaccinated because of that very flawed logic.

Even more true of RDS who has already been infected and has recovered fine.

Even with 2 jabs and a booster, I caught it and made an apparent quick recovery. Main resultant problem seems to be brain working slower than it used to.

Where the vast majority had *underlying* conditions which actually killed them.

This year vaccines available, covid not gone away but not killing

As would have been the case even after a nasty cold, which few people seem to have had for over a decade for some reason.
