There are equivalents in the UK. 01632 is used for landlines, and there are a few 07xxx codes for mobiles.
Blimey, there are a lot more of them than I thought. I suppose for drama set in a large city, they have to try to use a fictitious number with the authentic and well-known STD/AFN code rather than a bland 01632 code.
On library pc and old Nokia 1661 got the 2FA code to enable that function. Then eventually on my pc got the 16 character code to regain sensible gmail use again via thunderbird on my pc, still v15 or whatever, never did update it to v91 , if it ain't broke don't fix it of course.
