The results will be biassed according to whether people choose to do the test - some won't want to know.

You mean it's compulsory? (That's kind of what is mean by "drag people off the street".)

I went to a barber once who did that - almost literally. I looked in and withdrew when I saw the queue of men sitting down waiting - then one of the barbers came out and persuaded me to come back in, which I did.

Surveys show what the person running the survey want them to show.

They will change the figures, exaggerate, mess around with percentages to fool the masses etc.

Certainly fooled you...

Which they'll manipulate to get their opinion across to the gullible.

No, because I ignore almost every government stat.

Reminds me of Bruce Forsythe. He joked he didn't believe audience figures, so he got on his bike and went round asking everyone in the country.

But he was joking. What's your excuse for being a prat?

I get stats from reliable sources.

Did you know the UK government mistakenly released data that showed only 4% of accidents were caused by speeding, yet they continue to insist it should be prevented?

What a fuss over nothing.
