Excellent idea, thanks - didn't know such things existed! (I'm not the worlds keenest gardener)
How do "built-in" appliances cope? Is there enough airspaec at the back of the units for cooling?

I'd at least take the clear cover off the light, or shove a separate light in. The internal lights might get too hot for the fixture -- I've seen one or two with the fixture part-melted.
