Any T'Bird gurus on this NG.
I'm trying to sset up T'Bird and every attempt to download mail brings up the following error message.
"A News(NNTP) error occurred. Bad article number."
Any advice? A Google search isn't very helpful.

you say "mail" did you mean to say "news"?
have you also setup a news account, or has it picked-up an old account?
unsubscribe/resubscribe from groups, or go into properties of each group and click on repair button.
My mistake,brain in neutral. Yes, of course "news".
