Power Shower

Would fitting a new power shower be notifiable under Part P? The wiring would obviously be outside the bathroom?

Dunno about part P but round here you are supposed to notify the water supplier who will then fit a compulsory meter if there isn't one already.

Depends on the circumstance...

By "new" do you mean replacing an old one, or installing for the first time?

Are we talking self contained power shower unit (i.e the sort that looks a bit like an electrically heated shower that sits in a box in the shower enclosure), or a shower pump secreted elsewhere in the fabric of the building? Does it require a new circuit, or just extension of an existing one?

Shower pump secreted elsewhere, extension of existing circuit. First time installation.

That sounds like it's not notifiable unless the elsewhere is also a special location.
