It's only been 6 or 7 weeks for us but in Asia it has been a lifetime for many. And any aid that might have been supplied from richer countries has been squandered killing farmers, women and children in Iraq and Afghanistan.
TORY B LIAR please note. One region has to feed thousands of trapped people and have just 6 helicopters as the only way to reach them:

I never posted this to any political group which IMNVHO shows I know just about all there is to know about politics.
As it happens there never is any aid sent. Once the newsmongers have been sent to some other place that also desperately needs a total lack of western input it is business asa usual ion international politics. But it would have been nice to have had all our resources not actually needed for defence.
Unfortunately having young and otherwise unemployables with guns is no reason not to use them apparently, if there is a fat bribe being handed out by the bloke with all the bananas.
