The house we're doing up has good quality pine floorboards, some of which we've sanded/woodstained/sealed to use with rugs. We're now around to the kitchen and I'm considering painting the floorboards instead of woodstaining them.
Does a specialist floor-paint for wood, stand up to wear, traffic and cleaning as well/long as sealed wood floors do? (I've had a sealed-wood kitchen floor before). Can I get away with less sanding than is usual on old plain sealed wood floors?? Recommended brands of floor-paint for wood? Brands to avoid? Would I need to use a clear sealer on top of the paint?
TIA
