[OT] Music CDs

Best place for them, we had our desktops on the floor but they kept getting kicked as they were under the bench and student feet kept kicking the cables out, mains, USB and the audio cables got bent or destroyed. So in our new lab we have 96 all-in-one Dell PC's that look a little like imacs, i/e everything in the 'screen' so now there's more floor space, each table can now have it's own cupboard where the studetn can store their project work or we can use them for storage.

I know it;s true that a lot of laptop users don't put their PCs on their lap because they can get very hot, well some can. The majoroty of our acadmics seem to have chosen Mac laptops or high end PC versions I wonder why.

I don't have students here. I also have a degree of control over where I put my feet. And where I site the unit. Close enough to reach if needed but clear of my leg space.
