I have just received a message from my bank, suggesting that I consider different account options to make as much interest as possible from my spare money. However, in the current situation, where the new Chancellor seems to be making decisions on the run, with little regard to the consequences, I would think that a delay might be the best strategy, before making any major changes in my investment portfolio. Of course, moving it overseas may be the safest option.

If you are a UK resident and domiciled here then 'moving your money overseas' is futile (unless you have squillions and a good tax lawyer).
Personally I would lock in to a one or two year fixed rate bond (incl. cash ISAs) before 10-year gilt rates and base rate drop any more.
