Off the peg

How much for an old car these days. In an earlier incarnation an opld banger was worth 50 quid scrap according to market forces. The added value of a valid MoT was 100 quid making a viable mode of transport worth 150 smackers.

Is there a "going rate" these days?

Yes I heard that the quasi legal stunt had had serious knock on effects. But scrapping decent oldish cars didn't mean that the old bangers were got rid of, as the market the moneyed were after didn't include them.

Still never mind eh? One getteth the sort of government one didn't voteth for. A prime example of natural selection.
