If you take the CO2 levels at Mauna Loa and overlay that graph with the penetration of renewables there is absolutely no discernible effect.

Why would there be?

No one has taxed fuels, they have simply implemented a 'renewable obligation'.

We are forced to use a technology that simply doesnt work.

That means that if you overlay the alleged rise in global temperatures with the penetration of renewables, you could prove that renewables cause global warming!

It’s exactly the same argument put forward by climate believers when they overlay CO2 levels and global temperatures.

Is that a measure of all the carbon based fuel we are using, or its it a model projection, and does it take into account all the coal being burned in Germany and China to make the windmills and solar panels?

How much of that is a result of exporting much of our heavy industry and/or not manufacturing much of the new "green" technology that is now being imported.

When you try to look for where the data comes from, you meet just another greenwank site.

The standard trick is to say 'for every kWh of wind or solar power, we emit less CO2 by a proportionate amount'

Which is as close to a lie as it is possible to get.

The carbon costs of manufacturing, installing and maintaining these renewable sources and uprating the grid to use them, as well as all the backup technologies, are simply brushed under the carpet.

Look at who generated it. Its a renewable shill organisation. There to provide 'independent facts' to confirm how smashing renewable energy really is. Using data from an uncited source to paint the picture its been paid to paint.

And will it make a significant difference to the global CO2 (even assuming that that's important), bearing in mind we probably produce less than 2% of global emissions?
