I think the original Greek would have been more like "oh-meekron" (Compare and contrast with "oh-mega")
not "Nu"

There was a band in Harrow in the early 80s with that name. Unsurprisingly prog-rock influenced.
Looking on the bright side of Covid, many people have now learnt the Greek alphabet.
Once upon a time they would all have done it at Prep School.
