Parents have just had a "Baxi Solo 3 PFL60" boiler installed but are a bit concerned about the amount of noise it makes. With not having one of these fanned flu types before we're not sure if this is normal but the fan & burners kick in every couple of minutes making quite a loud roar noise when compared to the previous potterton prima 60 boiler that had a balanced flu. The noise is also loud outside with a fair amount of hot air being forced through the flu. Is this something that they just need to get used to with time?
