More Bonding :)

Hi.

Is it permissible to earth bond a pipe by connecting to it just outside the bathroom, and bringing the wire in thru the wall to within the room? Its a soldered copper pipe. It would put the earth clamp on the exterior of the house.

Its going to be a bit of a headscratcher if it cant be done this way.

Thanks, NT

Yes. The bathroom bonding is allowed to be outside but immediately ajacent to the bathroom. It's quite common to have it in an ajacent airing cupboard.

Thanks Andrew.

Also common to bond in the roof space!
