mini electrical trunking

Does anyone know which IEE regs installation method & cable rating column applies to mini trunking (the rectangular cross section channel with a clip on lid)?

ie does it count as conduit or as clipped direct or something else?

That would be Reference Method 3 (enclosed in conduit on a wall or in trunking etc.)
