Just about to install ventilated soffit in new dormer build. Just wondered about insects getting in via the slotted vents in the soffit. Should a finer mesh be placed over the slots, or is this just paranoia?

All vents I think need to have a tight mesh over them as Wasps love warm and cosy places.

Not too fine or they block with dust quite quickly.
Won't the ventilated soffit have factory fitted insect screen anyway?
