Knee Pads

Gel knee pads in at Aldi on Sunday. Wish I had some way back when I did a laminate floor. I suffered for months

John coughed up some electrons that declared:

Dickies trousers with knee pad pouches. Load once in the morning and forget.

Not as good as gel, but not straps biting into your leg either.

Only problem with Dickies is there is no give in them - hence you often find you want your leg to go, and the trousers say no!

cut the straps off and glue some velcro to the inside of the pads then, and let them stick to your knees by clinging to the hairs :)

Deffo the way to go. All my overalls (bib & brace type) have built in knee pad pockets. Surprising how many times you kneel down during the course of a day.

Shame they don't do shorts with knee pad pockets for the summer :-)

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember "The Medway Handyman" saying something like:

There's nothing to stop you making a harness. Or you could find the Ultimate Knee Pad, which is an amazingly over-priced kneepad support system from America. It rests on the top of the foot and straps around the calf, iirc.
