I hope you know the sort of thing I mean - has a head a bit like a shower head and is on the end of a shower flexible pipe.
Anyway it's that outlet piece that delivers the water that has broken
- currently replaced by a cheap shower head - anyone know of a source of replacements ?
Thanks Rob

Lots of suppliers on ebay; albeit for the full monty (ie hose, tap and all)... but if that's too expensive try contacting those suppliers direct and seeing if they've got an odd spare shower head kicking about (eg from a returned faulty tap?)

Possibly try a hairdresser supplier (sallies) I am sure some salons use that type of fitting.

Aldi have these in on occasion, around £15. They are crap.
If yours has broken, bite the bullet and buy a new, decent one. Expect £75+ for something that'll last a few years. Alan.

Try a new tap without one. I find these things a waste of time.

Thanks guys for the replies. I'm bumping this post to give a bit of feedback about these taps.
I trawled through various sites and ended up back on Ebay to buy a replacement unit. The main reason for going for a replacement was the realisation that the cheap ones (yes I got it from Lidls/Aldis) with a head a bit like a basic shower head are a poor design in that to swivel the tap head round the tap body the natural thing to do is to use the head as a lever - this puts a nasty strain on the plastic body and in due course the head sheers off.
The main advantage of this type is that they are small and neat. I've now gone for one with a spring arm and is some 300mm tall - no doubt it will equally have some vice in its design I'm not seeing at the moment but at =A340 against ~=A330 I'm hoping it will last a bit longer.
