I will be ripping the out old kitchen to get new one in. After this is should I get the whole room skimmed then fit the kitchen or do this after! are there any lists out therethat list the best order to do things in e.g. elctrics, pipeowrk etc!

just don't want plaster on the sides of the new kitchen as well!

Joe.

Before fitting everything on the surface of the room get everything that is going under the surfaces done first. e.g. Plumbing, Wiring, Plastering and Joinery. Once your foundation is in then you can fix your kitchen without it being marked.

yep get it all done first. I've just been through the nightmare of getting a new kitchen fitted myself, its not been pleasant but its worth it in the end, its looking fab, I've just got the slate floor to get laid now.
