I use this one on Thunderbird in another group not far from here, targeting the end of the references header line.

In my case I drop the whole following sub-thread, so don't bother with the continuation of the slanging match.

Huge should really set up his own moderated news group so he can restrict access to his acolytes only.

But I'm not sure what it would be about and how strict he would be - after all, only about half his posts on here have got anything to do with DIY.

Just a matter of self discipline.

Some people are 'warm and fuzzy' (and can generally get on with everyone and understand / accept that we are all different) and then you have the 'cold and pricklies who don't and simply can't. ;-(

Being a 'warm a fuzzy' I'm not arrogant enough to use (or ever used) a killfile but fully understand why a 'cold and prickly' would. ;-)

Lots and lots want to be net police. As I said, if they only want to read things they agree with, set up their own group and populate it with their acolytes.
