Now you mention it.
The bit on the left did flood when it rained.

It's all LED now:-)
The master bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and I am sure they will fit down lighters into the KingSpan destroying the insulation values instead of the nice LED strip lights I fitted on a vaulted ceiling where the customer was prepared to take a risk and try my suggestion.
This one
although the digital camera does not give a real view of what it looks like to the eye. There is a much more balanced spread of light when looked at with an eye and not on a photo.
It isn't. It's due to perspective distortion (in particular, tilting verticals) due to not arranging as previously mentioned, standing square on from a distance suitable to frame enough of the area of interest whilst keeping the focal plane of the camera (the camera back is parallel to the focal plane in most cases) parallel in both horizontal and vertical planes with respect to the building's frontage.
The main problem when using an ordinary camera from such a low down position, as indicated in the picture, is you'll be including an awful lot of unwanted foreground (as was also mentioned) in the lower half of the picture, effectively wasting some three quarters or more of the sensor pixels. If you're using a 16MPxl camera on a shot where 4Mpxl's worth of resolution is more than ample in the final cropped image, this can be a very cost effective alternative to investing in a special tilt lens / swing back architectural camera. :-)
Lots of light in your house seems like a good idea to me, what is your problem with it?
Stupid windows that size makes it too hot in Summer and too cold in Winter. Apart from the sheer ugliness of the place.
Swing backs/tilt lenses won't solve the problem, I think you mean shift lenses and backs. Swing lenses + backs are to alter the focal plane so different depths are in focus across the image. Its important to know the difference as you can get dirt cheap swing lenses (lensbaby) but not shift lenses.
Or use the Gimp (*) to edit the image and use its perspective tool to correct the distortion.
Ever heard of heating and air conditioning? Besides you can get warmth from the sun in winter, and use blinds in summer.
Glass isn't ugly.
Photoshop Elements:
Image>transform>distort>OK>OK. Pull the top corners outwards.
Bill
Mmmm.
More likely to need Dominic Littlewood.
There are no electrical or plumbing plans, the plumber nearly had a heart attack when I showed him around yesterday. £400K to get to the state they have got to and they have forgot to install any drains.
And they forgot the ducting for the hot tub and sheltered BBQ pit electric supplies.
More glass has gone in
and some other glass that should have gone in has not gone in as it did not fit.
Adam, if you have to include this misleading advertisement, can you configure Avast to use the correct seperator ("--") so I don't have to look at it?
I'll shortly be changing my newsgroup reader. It's a temporary thing.
Its not the reader. You need to go into avast settings and untick "Enable avast email signature".
I know. But it annoys Pounder:-)
If it annoys Pounder, feel free to leave it there.
S*n*f*o
It's always the glass, isn't it.
Owain
And not the brick work:-)
Any guesses as to a date for some finished photos?
The owners do expect to have their Christmas Dinner in that place.
OK then.
