Jigsaw blades for acrylic - T101A or T102BF

I'm looking for jigsaw blades for acrylic sheet, I know that's going to be difficult so I'm trying to give myself a bit of a chance by getting some specialist jigsaw blades.

The only specific 'for acrylic' blades I can find are Bosch T101A and Bosch T102BF, does anyone have experience of either of these.

Or are there better, other makes, blades?

I have to say the Bosch numbering system for blades appears to be totally random! :-)

I'd pick a fine tooth blade.Possibly with masking tap over the cut area and then keep the jigsaw tight to the surface of the acrylic.I'm not sure about it but acrylic might melt so keep the saw moving. Depending on the make of your saw it may offer a splinter guard like this for the Bosch. Festool have similar.

've alway found Bosch blades excellent. I tried Festool blades once but found them no better

Fine toothed blade and turn off the orbital action. Use masking tape on both sides of the cut. Just be careful at the end of the cut where the waste is hanging off and the weight of it will snap the acrylic at a random angle before you have chance to cut it.

+1, and take care to support/clamp the sheet to stop it bending up during a cut.
