Has anybody got the ledbury patio door? What is supposed to go in or on the vent slot as with mine what ever needs to be fitted is missing. The website shows the door open thus covering the vent in the fixed unit. I assume that there is some sort of plastic grill.

(Lebdury Mk3096 & Ledbury Mk3 Double102) don't show a vent. If the vents are similar to their windows then they are routed slots open on the exterior under the drip rail of the head of the window ( I can never remember the correct terms for window "components") the interior is covered by a "pivot & slide" vent cover. then you can see the vent cross section top left in the drawing p45 and if you look at the photo on p49 you can see the outside of the vents.
