I found a small area of rotten timber in the hardwood outer front door fame that needs filling. It is a pretty cheap and nasy frame so hence the rot I assume but in the interim I need to fill it. Can anybody recommend an exterior grade filler that will match hardwood.

You can get the two part polyester resin type fillers in a variety of colours. Whether one could say they "match" the wood will depend a bit on the wood!
