That seems to be excessive. I only clean our windows once or twice per year. The grime only builds up to a certain depth, before the rain washes it off.

Had a large one of those long ago, It was a type where the stuck outside half, went down to close.
I clean mine about once every 6 weeks because they need it. Often its the first rain that deposits the suspended muck in it that make them dirty again - but I do live in the part of the country with the lowest rainfall.
But how often does he clean the windows? ;-)

I live in sussex and downwind of me are a lot of leylandii and laurel hedges. After stormy weather I notice that my windows get covered in a film of slightly sticky stuff that I suspect is blown out of these species.
