I have just finished a floating floor on 75mm Celotex and also used the same to create an insulated ceiling, all the joints have been taped with foil tape. I am now about to start on the walls but have generated a pile of offcuts and I was wondering about filling some of the bays between the studs with some of these smaller pieces but it will mean a lot more joints. I am managing to cut the edges square and will like the floor and ceiling be taping the joins. Any problems doing this?
I am asking because @ £44 an 8’ X 4’ sheet the job is getting expensive and the offcut pile is increasing.
