As temperatures dip, it seems the grip of the nylon cord on one of my blinds (the patio) is slightly compromised. This means the motor roller that opens/closes it has started slipping slightly.
I am loath to increase the tension* - can anyone suggest a way of making the roller-cord contact a bit more grippy ? Sort of an anti-teflon spray (but not an adhesive as such) ?
*Little tip if you are mounting a blinds/curtain motor. Use a batten between it and the wall so you can adjust the tension after drilling holes in masonry
