Honeywell Motorised Valve Alternative - BES

I've just bought a brand new 22mm Honeywell 2 port zone valve on eBay for 22.50 including postage. Shop sensibly is the way to go.

take it apart and pull on te motor lead crimps. If they fall apart, solder them

It's genuine Honeywell. The box is slightly faded but never opened until I opened it to check contents on receipt. It'll get a functional test when installed. Unless that reveals a problem I'll leave the innards undisturbed.

Hi guys

My FIL has noticed two port motorised valves on BES web site. These are approx £25 compared to maybe £75 for Honeywell version .

Anyone used these to have seen the quality of these cheap offerings?
