Anyone know what the 'chrome' finish ones are made of? Metal of some sort which is very tarnish resistant - but doesn't seem as hard as stainless steel.

Cannot speak for the Homelux brand but every metal tile trim I have bought from numerous suppliers has always been Aluminium which appear to be polished and a coat of clear lacquer applied to keep the shine. I would imagine the Homelux type would be the same. I know that plastic items can be given a ?chrome? finish but usually on rigid plastic only as any flexing would cause the finish to flake off.

While we're at it, why do they make external corners but not internal ones?
