I'm having an indirect unvented cylinder fitted and would like to know if I will need pressure reduction for the hot water feed to the washing machine. I can't find the book for it and the Hotpoint site is not a lot of help.

What pressure will the system run at? I would have thought if it leaks then yes, if not then no. My unvented system was only at 1bar.
I have mains pressure HW (and of course cold) I fit a pressure regulator valve on incoming CW ... keeps pressure constant. (or to be more exact stops it going too high)
Ive got full mains pressure..about 3-4 bar IIRC.
I didn't do anything special on the washing machines.
Had two Hotpoints and now a Hotpoint and a Miele..they work.
Only issues I have had is one shower with a fancy plastic head that ALWAYS blows the O rings at full crack.
Must buy a metal head someday.

As long as the mains cold is below about 3 bar then you'll be fine. The thing you want to check is mixer showers.
Best way to reduce the pressure is to fit a PRV to the incoming mains if required, keeps everything constant. I know of someone who has 7-9 bar incoming mains pressure. Not a lot lasts for very long at 9 bar!
Most unvented cylinders have a pressure reducing valve, or multi- function valve (NRV + pressure reducing + pressure relief) on the inlet, usually factory set to 2.5 bar. Some of the welded stainless steel jobs don't, I think, so RTFM.
Well aim it somewhere else then...
