I am unable to buy bulbs like this locally
I can only find 12 or 24 volt capsules with straight pins.
Can anyone advise what it is I should be searching for online.

that looks like a Overhead projector bulb ....
I think the pinss are a bit close together but you may be able to modify a g9 bullb by clipping the outside wires and straightening up the pins ...
Anything like this ?
I've looked at 3 separate website of lamp specialists, none of them have anything other that the 300w ones for 240v. Pleanty of lower wattage for
12v.What has it come from?
