Probably OT but consider it under "Maintenance & care of Tools"category.Anybody recommend a hairclippers that work and last?I suppose I am looking for the Bosch or Miele in clippers.We cut our own hair and have bought the best that we can find. Somewith ceramic blades, titanium blades, we destroy them all in thishouse.They work for a few months and then suddenly retire in mid cut withthe note changing and jamming up in the hair. Usually in cutting myyoungest's hair. He is rather like trimming a moggie.Any pointers appreciated.

Ah OK. Sounds like something different. The adjustment on mine just seems to affect the travel of the top blade so that it doesn't hit the edges of the casing.

I always thought hair clippers used a vibrator rather than a rotary motor, but I've never taken one apart yet.
